Lookup players to check if they have a history of being toxic. If you want
a smoother,
less stressful gaming experience, search for your teammates before playing with them.
That way, you'll have a heads up as to whether or not they are toxic. Muting toxic players is
the most effective
way to dampen their toxicity and extinguish their rage.
We realize that muting or leaving your teammate isn't always practical.
Especially in ranked or competitive play. In those situations, the most useful thing you can
do is report the player to warn
others.
This feature is also built to simply be informative. If you are interested
to see if
other gamers think you are toxic, search for your own player name! Other users find
this
feature useful when deciding whether or not to invite a player to their clan, guild, group,
etc. Or, if you are simply curious about random players you see in game, check if they have
any reports!
We gather the information you provide to help you avoid toxicity in the
games you love. We
DO NOT, however, condone or support any efforts to use this
information to attack, harass, or harm toxic gamers in any way. Our mission is to end toxicity
in gaming. Using this data to harass toxic players is counterproductive and hypocritical, as
it involves fighting toxicity with toxicity. And, as we've all learned the hard way, talking
back only helps the toxic flame burn brighter. Don't be a part of the problem that you are
trying to
solve. Stay classy, stay patient. Mute, report, and get back to having fun. Kindness will
prevail!
Reporting is Toxic IRL's main function. In this guided process, simply
enter the name and game of the
player you witnessed being toxic and describe what they did or said. Use toxicity reports to
hold players
accountable by attaching the things they say and do to their player names for the world to see.
To reinforce
your claim, attach proof in the form of an image or video to your report. That way, their
toxicity cannot
be disputed.
Every time a toxicity report is filed, we get one step closer to achieving
our goal of eliminating
toxicity in gaming. Toxic reports are the lifeblood of our community. They spark
conversations, provide crucial data, and support helpless gamers by warning them ahead of time.
As described in the user terms & conditions ,
users must adhere to Toxic IRL's rules for reporting when creating reports. This will help to
prevent
duplicate and incorrect information, as well as keep purposely false reports to a minimum.
With the power of big, shared, accurate data, we can defeat toxicity in gaming!
